Last time I was in Nashville, I was driving a van for the Sky Ryders in 1992. Vanderbilt was a nice place, but all I can remember was the heat at the souvie trailer, and the boo's from the Blue Devils comming in second to Star of Indiana. prodigal bari Posted August 11, 2005 Share Posted August 11, 2005 The only stadium that can hold a finals crowd is The Coliseum; and that is a fantastic site! 27,000+ seats concert side; next door to all of the Nashville nightlife; and a hotbed of interest. (Look at the crowd at the 'Boro two weeks ago...) The only stumbling block would be Bud Adams; and I have my doubts he would say OK; unless they get FieldTurf soon. Too bad.... HOT. In Jackson, the local ambulances could not keep up with the heat casualties from the corps that week. I'd have to say that's the main reason drum corps does not flourish in the South.
