danjuan2000
I actually think it will be a little longer till SCV wins again. I'm gonna use the Cavaliers example: 1997 - Cavies get 8th 2000 - Cavies tie for World Championship... start Dynasty of the 'oughts. So I say: 2005 - SCV gets 8th 2008 - SCV wins World Championship...

SBrancheau
Coulda been worse, they could have not made finals! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And that, ladies and gentlemen, puts it in perspective.

If they come out with a weird show next year and finish 1,2,3, ,in my book they will have failed miserably if they go weird on us to get there. MsBusDriver
I'd rather base my prediction on this ... 1980 - SCV gets 7th 1981 - SCV gets 1st No worrys though...What will be, will be... B) SCV---33 years in Finals b**bs and counting...
Cardman
Hey I wasn't saying anything bad about SCV, I was just enlightening the young pups on this sight regarding some history, you know stuff that happend before 1999. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just another negative thread, if you ask me... PhantomR
They should have broken 90. That corps was a gas, and their show was magnificent. Certain other corps which shall remain nameless engaged in the greatest waste of talent I've ever seen. I can only wonder what the parent volunteers really think when they watch some of the crap that makes it onto the field. Such a deal: volunteer, pay big bucks for your kids, then pay a pompous staff to engage in self-indulgence within the DCI mutual admiration society. Thanks Santa Clara, Phantom, Scouts, Blue Coats, Glassmen (yes, Glassmen), Crusaders, Spirit, Blue Knights, and Carolina, for putting the performers and the fans before your staff egos. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Bluecoats... one word. BUT I mostly agree with your post. I dont think kids WASTE there money to march, nor is it a waste of talent, but it can be true to some extent. ~>conner
Jeff Ream
HOLY SMOKES, the sky is falling, the sky is falling!!!! b**bs OMG, they didn't break 90!!!  :( Give me a break it's Monday morning, I'm always a little crazy on Mondays!!! That was this year, WAIT ILL NEXT YEAR!!! I'm going out on a limb and say: "SANTA CLARA VANGUARD WINS 2006 DCI TITLE" Don't forget where you heard this first !!! B) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well if you follow history after 1980, they regrouped and won DCI in 81. It is THEIR money, not THERE money. It is far more offensive to see a correction with errors than the original error itself. Don't correct people on here, kid.
