JohnZ
DCA Alumni in the news scroll down, then listen in on his interview. I have seen his name mentioned by a few DCP folks over the years, so I thought it appropriate to put this here. A perennial DCA entertainer on the field, and one of the finest gentlemen to ever grace a pit.

JohnZ
I asked him, Sandy how did you get that good, he said narcotics....lol he was joking I can see him saying that, then topping it off with that huge toothy smile. I think he was a product if the Hill District, as was the rest of the SCA pit crew when they first discovered drum corps. You didn't mess with the 'boys from the Hill', but you also couldn't find a nicer bunch of guys. I'd trek back to a Steeler game just to watch him perform outside the stadium - bet he's as fun to watch now as he was twenty years ago. buzzgok
I had the pleasure of being in Westshore's pit in 92 and 93 with Sandy, Dave and Irv. Three of the funniest peolpe I have ever marched with! I had a blast those two years.
