Murph
gold only has 1 aug score....so how does that work <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Then, it falls to last years placements.
rancidrolla
well then that means we should be going on later than 4th
sunbari1
how are we going on 2nd? (in open) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Because you guys didn't compete last year. Same thing happened to us when we came back, DCA treats you like a new corps. Which in my opinion is really stupid!
AlbionNY Drum Line
like i said...then why do WS go on so late?
ErieSopMike
Any DCA officials on here that could explain this? Or link us to somewhere that the rules are established? Because I'm confused as well as to the process of organizing prelims. :sos:

Fran Haring
like i said...then why do WS go on so late? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "WS" is White Sabers, correct? Edited August 29, 2005 by Fran Haring
BuccaneerBlue
Frontier and Crusaders are one and two because neither are member or associate member corps. Kilties are an associate member, the only one in open class, so they go on after Frontier and Cru. The rest are member corps (is Gold???) and they're order is by the average of their August scores.at least that's how it's been in the past. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I would be interested in how the prelims seeding was determined as well. If it is an average of all August scores then it should look like this: Frontier Crusaders Kilties Sunrisers (August scores avg = 72.55) Grennies (August scores avg = 76.54) Skyliners (August scores avg = 76.88) Hurricanes (August scores avg = 78.26) Gold (ONE score for August 6 = 78.3) CorpsVets (2 August Scores avg = 80.96) The rest of the seeding makes sense for the most part..... I know that Frontier and Cru are mot member corps and Lilties are associate members. Gold is a member corps (at least that is what the DCA website says). Can anybody shed some light????? Jeff Ream
if you only have one august score, you go on where you placed last year...and last year there were what, only 13 open class corps?
