multiple quotes in one post

Today i quoted two differnt things in one thread, and it made them into one giant post. This created much confusion, as by doing it that way, it makes it a lot more difficult to follow the conversation and can take things out of context. how can we change it back to the old way?

hmm.. i noticed that quick edits dont show a post as having been edited.

test edit 90 min later..

yeah - that's supposed to work that way - quick edits are only available for a bit after the post is made by a member - meaning you edited it right away before anyone read it

the edit comment is only to let others know you may have gone back LATER and revised your comments

hmm.. i just edited above post.. 90 min after the original.. and i can quick edit it. (is the time limit longer?)

i love being able to quick edit like that.. without having to load another page.. but not having the edited tag added could be confusing esp if someone changes something someone comments on

test

OK, it's showing that I did an edit even on the quick edit...
