DMCK
you werent playing Batman, so i left him out of it :P Seriously. When it was announced that we'd be doing a brand new arrangement of "Perfect Year" on the field, many vets wondered aloud, "how are we going to finish that song without crying". lol It's hard enough to sing through it. posaun1
This is looking to be one of the most memorable seasons that Bush has ever put out there. Fanfare for the New is so intense. Rehearsing it with the line the other day was a rush. I can't wait for our next camp (December 10th and 11th at the Garfield Legion Hall) to really dig into this piece. The trumpet book is screaming!!!!! Actually looking at the score all the parts are insane. What a great year to be a Bushwacker!!!
DMCK
The mello book is mad sweet (that's what the kids say these days). Can you say "tuba feature"?

Donny Drum Corps
I know very well the "Fanfare for the New" as I tried to use it as the opener for the first year we did Kenton at Crusaders. It lasted about 2-3 rehearsals before I realized that we simply didnt have the talent to pull it off and to water it would be a sin. What a great chart!!!
