84BDsop Posted January 17, 2006 Share Posted January 17, 2006 Hmmmm....I'd have to watch the video, then listen to the CD and do a comparison...primarily of crowd response. I suspect, tho, that it's all prelims...easier and cheaper to just print one complete program rather than splice 2 together. Not unheard of...83 SCV and 90n Dutch Boy are prelims as well. I have the "Audio Collectors Series" for 1987-1991, and I have the entire frack. The video may be finals, but the RECORDING is prelims...different crowd responses ...and listen to the chimes at the very end...in prelimes the last note was perfectly together...at finals it was like a bad flam. If I remember correctly, the semis version wasn't perfect either; obviously a lot better, but I think I remember hearing something that was actually better on finals night.
