dugg
i may be wrong but let's suppose that if there were a cavaliers alumni guard and they were to perform that exact same james bond show count for count at a wgi finals exhibition the crowd would go absolutely crazy!just a thought! Do you remember the year the baton world champion dude from Japan performed in exhibition? Well, imagine that crowd response times ... I don't know ... twenty. Folks would be ripping their seats from the concrete.

kelcanadian
They did some very innovative work for the times!Got to love guys in tuxs too. I showed the video to my daughter who is currently marching with Ventures open guard. She was gob-smacked! I just got warm fuzzy feelings for the old days - precision, execution and very cool tricks. I'm with you Lynn.... I don't know any guy who doesn't look good in a tux. kel

lindap
Anymore pictures anyone? I have about 20 photos where 10 are from Alberta Girls winter guard from 1977 - 1985 or so and 10 various from AWGA contest. We had Alberta Winter Guard Association for a few years 'cause travel south was costing alot and too far. If there is interest, let me know. Might take me a while to scan and I just don't know the names of the guards. Some of the guards went to WGI but it's been too long ago for me to remember.
