lindap
YES! Please post them. :) I have some photos of guards that went to WGI, some AWGA and some pre-WGI. Is it OK if I just post anything that I have about historical winter guard from 1970 - 1985? Let me know. Thanks. 1971 Edition of Drum Corp America magazine. Do you think we could ask DCP to change the forum name from 'Old WGI photos' to 'Old winter guard photos'? lindap
Sorry. Been busy at work and done posting on another forum. I'm tied up over the next few weeks but I have faded and good photos of traditional, cavemen, ghosts, clowns, young guard photos mostly 1977-1985. I'm a bit shy here, but I find that the photos make me smile, so I'll try to share. Thanks. :)

lindap
And Phantom with the Star Wars show. Anyone remember how PR would play their music tape REAL loud... added intensity! Controversial at the time! Good photo, theatrical, lighting, set (a gym with windows), people in the audience. What year is this? and where, if you know? dugg
not sure where this was taken however i believe the year was 1978[wgi's inaugural year] the show,"star wars"they were 2nd place at wgi [quasar won,you should have seen george zingali go beserk!] and yes their music was very loud indeed [i sat in the 14th row] and mr. brazale wanted it louder!what a show and what a suprise ending!anyone remember it? 1979 was "pictures at an exhibition"[1st place wgi]. btw, inavis,i assume you will be at the state street reveiw reunion?that should be quite a party!lot's of fun people! lindap
I'm waiting for approval from a founding member of a Canadian colour guard circuit. Yesterday, I also found 20 more faded photos that take time to scan. Faded because my 35 mm was lost mid-1980's and used an instamatic camera with low flash indoors and the photos are over 20 years old. I'm working on this. Take care.
