MJH Posted June 23, 2006 Share Posted June 23, 2006 Check this out! It's a Mardi Gras parade from 1941. There's no sound, but there must be at least 16 different drumcorps / bands in the parades. I saw at least 1 all female corps. The whole thing is in Technocolor, too! Jd83 Posted June 23, 2006 Share Posted June 23, 2006 Great find!! I didn't even know this existed. Back in the day, people went all out with their Mardi Gras costumes. If you look at some of the old pics, some of these costumes are absolutely gorgeous.
