firefox extension

I made a Firefox extension (http://www.getfirefox.com) for the DCP website. current version 1.2 - Firefox 2.0 compatible!

5290.jpg

Basically, it is the ENTIRE DCP website in a easy to navigate menu, at the top of your Firefox browser. What this will do is easily allow you to navigate to ANY part of the DCP.... no matter what site you are currently on! You can also Right Click on a menu link, and it will open in a new tab, so you could easily go to multiple DCP pages.

To install the extension, click here http://www.53mp.com/firefox/dcp.xpi

If clicking on it shows you a blank page, copy and paste the url into your browser and open it that way.

note: you may have to allow extensions to be installed from the server, there may be a bar at the top of the page asking for permission. After you install, you have to restart firefox to see the new menu. It will be at the top of the browser like in the picture above.

Enjoy!!

For my other extensions, including a MySpace extension, visit http://53mp.com/web/sites.53mp and click on Other and then Custom Site Firefox Extensions

updates

8-2-06: 1.0 - initial release

8-2-06: 1.1 - added OT forums

1-15-07: 1.2 - Firefox 2.0 compatible

to update the extension, click on Tools then Extensions and the extensions box will pop up. Click on Find Updates, and all of your extensions with new updates will be show. Click on the update button next to those extensions (you may have to scroll down) Restart firefox, and you are good to go

i'd suggest "tech talk" in the OT forums, but not everyone can access that right off the bat

This. Is. Awesome! :blink::blink::worthy::blink:

I probably don't need to install it at work (just one more productivity drainer), but this is going on my home computer. Thanks a ton!
