kevingamin Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the 2009 Drum Corps Associates Alumni Spectacular! It is another GORGEOUS day here at Marina Auto Stadium and we are just minutes away from step-off of the first corps for this morning's festivities. John Donovan, Danielle Potts, Jeff DeMello, Doug Peterson, and I are all ready to give you the best drum corps coverage this side of Los Angeles. Quote

kevingamin Posted September 6, 2009 Author Posted September 6, 2009 Joey Pero just played the U.S. national anthem. Not sure why he didn't play the Canadian anthem, but it was more than covered by the Les Diplomates contingent in the stands. In French, of course. Quote
kevingamin Posted September 6, 2009 Author Posted September 6, 2009 Mighty St. Joe's is just outside the field and they are playing the Phantom Regiment arrangement of Amazing Grace, facing away from the fans. Pretty much a pre-show warm-up, although they're at full volume. Quote
kevingamin Posted September 6, 2009 Author Posted September 6, 2009 Tap off and cadence. Here comes St. Joe's! Quote
