TomMoore Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 On behalf of a grateful Reading Buccaneers organization I want to thank everyone who made last night's Spring Preview such a success! 1. Our very talented, very pregnant and very committed alumnae Lumelle Schneeweis, who coordinated this year's Preview and did an absolutely magnificent job! 2. Our exceptional Bucs Alumni and our friends and colleagues in the Reilly Raiders, CrossmenXtreme, Steel City Ambassadors, Yankee Rebels, Brassmen and Skyliners Alumni, who shared their gifts with us and the audience. 3. The very large and very appreciative audience who are the reason we perform -- who supported the drum corps activity, the Buccaneers and the Twin Valley band program by being with us last night. 4. Mr. Dan Long and the Twin Valley School District, both of whom are incredible hosts and are blessings to this organization. 5. Fran Haring, who again shared is unique style -- clothing and oratory -- with us once again. Barbara, it was GREAT to see you and see the progress you're making! Looking forward to seeing you again soon. 6. The many volunteers who made the event flow smoothly and professionally. Special thanks to all the Buccaneers alumni who helped. 7. The folks from Twin Valley who prepared another great turkey dinner for the performers. 8. The 2008 Reading Buccaneers, who prepared with focus and determination for this performance and announced that The Pursuit of Joy is in overdrive! Well done! I'd tell you to mark your calendars for Spring Preview 2009 but I don't know when the date is yet! So just keep all of May free and plan to join us for the 5th Annual Spring Preview! See you in Wildwood! Until then, fair winds and smooth sailing to all! Quote

Martybucs Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 It was indeed a great show. It's fun to see so many people having so much fun. I saw you at one point, Tom, and I was going to introduce myself, but you looked like a determined man on a mission and I didn't want to stop you. I did finally meet Jerry Ware. He gave me a ride to my car. Much appreciated. Quote
