steelcityrabbit Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 It is with great sorrow that I have to announce that another fine drum and bugle corps has gone inactive. The Division Street All-Star Marching Brigade from Mars, Pa. is now inactive. This once brilliant corps has never placed lower than 2nd in any competition it entered over it's 10 year tenure. As a founding member, it was not an easy decision, but one that had to made. All corps equipment will be stored for now for a possible comeback. To anyone who over the years marched or helped out in any way, I am deeply grateful. Your efforts will not go without notice. To all those who supported us, thanks. Quote

Pgh Guy2 Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 Hey all, I have seen this exceptional group of family members and friends perform at parades in the northern part of of the boro of Saxonburg, Mars and Elwood city.....There was a splendid ensemble of apx. 7/9 people totally dedicated to the enhancement of the "Rabbit" family name and the entertainment of their drumcorps followers..... It's a sad day in Mudville to hear the Brigade will no longer be @ local parades....My best wishes to all the members.... P.S. - Jeff hasn't heard of this group because his bus doesn't head north and travel uphill.... P.S.S. - Tom, Rabbit is a retired Marine and they are not allowed to be pranksters and he is a devoted fan of the Blousemen... Pgh Guy Bari 2 Extraordinaire John G Quote
Donny Drum Corps Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 Blousemen will never disband while Gary Winkleman is alive, that I know for sure. Blouse will rule for many more years. Phantom Vanguard hasnt been the same since the two .05 directors started bickering (Adam Berger and Tom Tufaro). Kay Eltman tried to save the corps but didnt get enough support out there on the island. Donny Quote
