It was a great dramatic weekend for DCPI, but the CLASS ACT competitions continue on strong through the DCPI Championships!

This weekend CLASS ACT was in Port StLucie Florida and here are the results:

Caption awards:

High Guard-Southern Star

High Marching-Nastalgia Alumni Corps

High Percussion-Nastalgia Alumni Corps

High Brass-Nastalgia Alumni Corps

High Music-Nastalgia Alumni Corps

High GE- Triglav

and now the scores:

IN 4th place with a 86.0 Triglav

taking the Bronze with a 86.4 The Associates

taking the Silver with a 86.6 Nastalgia Alumni Corps

and taking the Gold an 87.4 Southern Star!!!

Despite only winning the Guard Caption, Southern Star continues on their undefeated streak and appears to be the corps to beat this season! The dark horse seems to be Nastalgia Alumni Corps who has risen from 5th at CLASS Championships to a very close second taking a LIST of honors with them in individual captions. If they can turn their GE scores around, this corps will be tough to beat! The Associates take second in several key categories including GE and certainly have a shot going into the last few weeks! If Triglav can get their performance scores to start matching their GE scores---LOOK OUT! Lets not forget The Sinfonians who were not at this weeks show but will be back next week in Scranton or Knightmare whose Division I corps just took the whole enchilada at DCPI Championships!

ALL Directors can now get your caption changes into me before this weekends shows (due by 5pm 8/16). Remember you can actually change all 8 captions if you so choose or none at all HOWEVER points are now increased to 170!!!!
