Well I can't root for my own corp anymore I've decided to back Madison this year Jim Mason has really got his stuff together and I can see Madison winning it all someday again , this show seems to be an exciting show for Madison , so go for it kids !

This is exactly what I've been saying Kemo but with one extra addition we need to start up the smaller Drum Corps associations such the " Great Lakes Drum corps Assciation " Mid-West assocition " West Coast , East Cpast and Southern States associations . Like you said most of these corps can't afford these enormous expenses , DCI can't afford to not support this idea , yes DCI wil make less money but it's the nature of the beast , I hope someone comes up with a solution ! God Bless Drum Corps !!!!!

I think that the Glassmen should try and court the brand new " Hollywood Casino " in Toledo ! Just a thought ?

I'll tell ya trying to get an alumni association going with the Glassmen is like trying to pull teeth , myself and some other people not mentioning any names to protect them tried to do this a few years ago and all we got for our efforts was a form letter from the corps delivered to myself by two certain people also who I won't mention any names I was never so hurt in my life ! This would've never cost the Glassmen any money whatsoever they even had the guts to tell to cease and desist using the Glassmen name a name that I have been a part of since 1973 a name that me and several other kids at the time came up with Don't get me wrong I wan't to see this corps succeed more than anything really I do this , this is my corps as well as thousands of kids that have become Glassmen family through the years yes there are some Glassmen that I don't get along with but I still care for them emensely but thats family even the ones that gave me that nasty gram come on people we need an alumni association and we need it to be headed up locally and I'm not asking for the job but I do think that someone from the Toledo / N.W. Ohio area that is qualified to chair this organization should be offered the job . A meeting should be arranged by Mr. Stinson and the B.O.D. As soon as possible ! I would say to any younsters wanting to try out for the Glassmen for the 2013 season to go ahead I think that everthing will work out just fine This corps has world class instructors , great food and an " Experience of a Liftime " !!!!!

When I saw that the White Sabre's hired Austin Jabault my jaw dropped you have made a great choice Austin was a fantastic snare drummer for the Glassmen and he was under Rob Ferguson's wing during his time with the corps ! It will be very interesting seeing and hearing what he prouduces ! I wish your corps all the best for the up coming season !!!!! Smitty :thumbup:

Pacific Crest was a real treat even with the three or four holes in the hornline they had a great show , I believe this corps as well as Jersey Surf will be the ones to watch in the forseable future .

I like the rest of you really enjoyed Jersey Surf but the percussion particularly the battery ie bassdrums it seemed were struggling with their parts , but the brass were smoking .

I'm sorry I don't know what I was thinking it was 7 years I was counting my total years and the count was 11 yrs but the first 4 were my having marched in a drum and baton corps .
