BEST OF THE 2011 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
emmiewinks replied to Mr. Know it all's topic in CGP General Discussion
I'm pretty sure the group you're looking for is Oak Ridge. A friend of mine had been raving all season about that toss, and I hadn't seen it... when I saw it in finals I knew exactly why he'd been going on and on about it! -

Do you mean Natalie, the red head that was Katee's roommate? I LOVED her! The song she used was "Breakdown More" by Eric Hutchinson. Edit: Just realized tonight's episode had the Seattle auditions... haven't gotten to watch it yet. Oops.

If it's the same thing as a wood burner(that's what we use, I'm pretty sure they are the same thing), you can get them at Michael's and other similar arts and crafts stores.

Crown is using The Prayer Cycle by Alanis Morisette, and NEI is using music by Explosions in the Sky, although I'm not sure what song exactly.
-
Yes, they are new this year, but not spawned from The Cast- most of The Cast kids are at Etude and Southeast Independent this year. From what I know, Wind is made up of some West Johnson grads and former First Flight members.

A few of their dancers came to Winthrop a few years ago and gave a master class. It such a great experience. I love that so much of what becomes amazing dance starts as collaborating and experimenting.

We have two sets of treble clef flags... not exactly what you need but just in case... The first set is here: http://providencebands.com/2007-11-03%20Ba...ides/SC0610.jpg The second set is here: http://providencebands.com/2007-11-03%20Ba...ides/SC0620.jpg - This flag is basically the same as the other set just less bright. Not a great view of the silks but you can see the colors. Good luck!!

I'd say props for sure, but flags... I don't know. I've found that some dancers are very resistant to the idea of colorguard- a friend of mine was choreographing for our Senior Thesis show and his piece description included "...the use of props." Everyone started freaking out that he was going to try and "do colorguard" for his piece, when really the props were just PVC frames.

Is anyone else having issues with the audio on the video of Fantasia from the Ceres regional? I get 6 seconds of the announcer and people screaming, then nothing. Is it just me?
