Shenandoah Sound Announces New Winterguard

Shenandoah Sound Drum & Bugle Corps is proud to announce the creation of Northern Virginia’s newest winterguard: Creation.

Creation is a competitive winterguard. The group will compete in the Atlantic Indoor Association and Winter Guard International. Creation will compete at several local and regional competitions. According to Lindell Palmer, director of Creation, “We’ll be competing locally at Broad Run HS on February 13 and CD Hylton on March 20. In addition we’ll be competing nationally at the WGI Pittsburgh Regional on February 6, the WGI Richmond Regional on March 13, and at WGI Championships in Dayton, OH April 8 -10.”

Creation is made up of young adults, age 16-21. The group is encouraging perspective members to audition. All rehearsals take place at Manassas Park High School in Manassas Park, Virginia.

Creation is an independent guard, meaning the group can accept members regardless of school affiliation.
