Beatrix Moving Wednesday Night Rehearsals To Friday Nights

Yes, you read that correctly. Beatrix? will move from their usual Wednesday night to Friday night. For years Beatrix rehearsed on Wednesday evenings and Saturdays.

For members who live in Hilversum the Wednesday rehearsal was generally not a problem, but for the members who came from outside Hilversum, or even from abroad, this made for a very costly and time consuming hobby. Having to travel several hours every Wednesday and Saturday to march at a top European Drum Corps is quite a challenge.

Earlier this season a committee was formed to explore whether it would be possible to move the rehearsal from the Wednesday evening to Friday evening. Of course there are many other associations that rent space in the Beatrix? Corps Hall, so interviews were conducted and meetings were held to discuss this issue.
