Juliana Are 2010 DCN Champions

Juliana Drum & Bugle Corps are the new Dutch champions in the Premier Class. Saturday, the corps from Middelburg beat their fierce rivals, Jubal from Dordrecht and Beatrix from Hilversum. And, as if that wasn’t enough, Johan Friso won the Dutch Junior Class title in the FC Dordrecht stadium and brought it to Middelburg.

Middelburg is celebrating. For the first time both Juliana and Johan Friso are national champions in the DCN competition. Juliana also took the prizes for High Brass, High Visual and High Effect. High Music went to Jubal, and Beatrix won High Percussion and High Auxiliary. Juliana winning the title was not a foregone conclusion. The packed grandstand enjoyed strong showings from the top three which were evenly matched in terms of quality.
