Well, that does it for the 2018 North America drum corps season. Time for me to pack it up and pack it in. I'll be doing social media coverage for WGI in the off season and will post my 2019 DCP/DCW coverage once we have a schedule. I'll see you all next year!

When some corps have up to 40+ instructors and my D&BC days ended in 66 with around 4/5, there's no way I'm interested in who's who. As long as they do their best with each corps, I'm good.

There's a reason why I spend very little time on this annual topic. I have no clue who 95% of these people are and what their specialty is.

My agent is appalled at the salary proposals I've been offered by the corps this year. The benefits packages definitely need more discussion.

Wow once again a solid performance. I was not disappointed tonight. This is the 1st time I've seen them this year. Great performance. I don't think I'm going out on a limb by predicting that if they keep their momentum going this a solid top 6 contender very very soon!

Well it looks like class A did turn out a little tight .06 separating the top 2 with Sky close behind. I missed Govies and Sky so I can't really give a good analysis. However I know that when they told us to sit in the bench up front we did and no one stood up to jump and cheer since we thought it could penalize the score. ANd when you are .06 apart from each other a .1 penalty for the staff doing something would be killer and a horrible thing to do to the kids who are busting their butts out on the field.

LOL!!! My cat was pestering me for his breakfast, earlier than usual. He seems to have a knack for knowing the days when I most need to sleep, and not allowing it. So I figured I'd check the scores first.... then back to sleep in a few, for hopefully a couple of hours more.

Correct, I was able to announce that on my FB page a couple of weeks ago. Excited for the team and their future, I'm sure more coming next week! Like I mentioned about 20 pages back, happy to talk past and future plans via PM.

Topical... This years Crown show was a huge disappointment from a visual perspective. Matter of fact it was the worst show I've seen from them that I can recall in recent memory. The music and visual certainly did not complement each other IMHO. I'm not a hater either. Some of my all-time favorite performances from Crown were 2005, 2009, 2012, 2013, 2015, and 2016.
