  3. This made me laugh….Heard a convincing doctor saying that staying at home as much as we have to, we should focus on inner peace. To achieve this we should always finish things we start, and we all could use more calm in our lives. I looked through my house to find things I'd started and hadn't finished, and I decided to finish off a bottle of Merlot I found, then a bottle of Chardonnay, a bodle of Baileys, a butle of wum, tha mainder of Valiumun srciptuns, an a box a chocletz. Yu haf no idr how feckin fablus I feel rifle now. Sned this to all who need inner pees. An telum u luvum. And two hash yer wands, stafe day avrybobby!!!

  6. Just an absolutely magnificent battery and pit. I've probably listened to it well over 100 times over the many years. I wasn't a huge fan of the dark tuning of the snares when I was in the audience, but up close on the tape, you can really pick up on how tasty these cats were. The bass drums were just sick... I have a few favorite shows but 2010 PR will most likely top my list. It wasn't flashy and finals probably wasn't as clean as it could have been, but the emotional connection for me was "special."

  7. Yes. Obviously. I already emailed a corps I bought tickets from to let them know that I don't want a refund, and hope they will use the money as a contribution instead. Hopefully lots of people will do the same, and corps will make it easy to do that when communicating with people about the refunds they're clearly entitled to.

  17. "You funny man." I've been playing in church in some form or another since I was 10 years old. I've been told that I'm pretty good at my craft. But I also know who gave me my talent. I chose not to rely on idealism. Instead, I prefer the motto "Prepare for the Worst; Pray for the Best." Thank you for your encouragement. Here's a little video for my offering:

  20. I donate already as well. I would like a refund from tickets I bought from DCI and take that money and donate it to Bluecoats. Obviously, I am happy to donate the tickets I bought for Bloo shows to Bloo.

  21. Already donate, so refund my money for tickets purchased for all cancelled DCI events. If interested in attending a performance in 2021 I’ll purchase tickets again.

  28. You heard my story about getting Holy water thrown on me in religion class. Also, I remember when I got my first divorce, I went to go see Father Mike for some advice. We talked awhile and then when I went to leave he put his arm around and whispered in my ear "You better get your #### together." Lol

  34. And as I posted the phone rang from Hershey Medical Center (part of Penn State Medical). Have an appointment scheduled in April for hearing aid info. This will now be done over the phone.... thank goodness my right ear is Ok but going to make note taking a beotch as I hate speaker phone on the cell. Also my church is now webcasting Sunday service and has link to last weeks service. Just weird seeing a service with only a pianist (pre service music) and the ministers. All keeping social distance hate to think what the Bichon (avatar pic) is gonna look like when she misses her grooming for a while.

  35. No, it’s up to the prescriber to use their clinical judgement. Obviously they still have to practice within the standard of care and within the guidelines of their professional and licensing agencies. Plus insurance may not cover off label.

  36. Absolutely right. I was in the Army then, scared out of my wits, but wasn't deployed there. Many of my corps buddies were and some didn't come back alive, or whole. But even that didn't kill drum corps. By comparison, this situation is trivial. Stop whining. If the season is shut down, which it should be, all those kids will remain eligible next year. Sometimes reality bites.

  38. i ty to avoid the direct medical discussions on here...too many experts without medical degrees bloviating their preferred political talking points couched as medical thoughts. however a family member in eastern PA, not prone to panic in any shape or form, and despises drama is rattled. per a meeting she attended today, the peak in PA is at a minimum 2-4 weeks away, and the healthcare system is not prepared. states and municipalities fighting the federal government for supplies because there's no unified coordination to tackle this. it's whoever can get stuff first, and often fighting other countries in the supply chain. as more tests finally become available, more cases will be documented. long and short....it's gonna get worse, and the country is dicking around
