  1. I know there is no show, but are they going to have an awards ceremony for the Bucs anyway since they would have won ?

  2. The corps already “downsized” and there’s zero logic in abandoning the idea of 2021 at this time, March or so is plenty early

  3. I know someone who doesn't get the flu shot because it brought on seizures. Anyway, I don't get when people talk about " High Risk Population " like it's a few people in this country. With all high risk in this country for hundreds of reasons from the very young to the very old what is it, millions of people? Doesn't seem so isolated as some want you to believe. JMO

  4. I think it’s still too early to even discuss. I know local winter colorguard and percussion circuits are struggling with their winter schedules. The common thread from school administration and activities directors is that they need to get through the fall season first. Then they will move on to winter and spring. Any discussions about outside groups needing or wanting access next summer aren’t on anyone’s radar right now.

  5. Considering this was the time when their leadership also wasn't submitting annual 990 forms to the IRS, which led to their suspension from DCI for a year, I sense a pattern of poor choices. Re: Cavaliers 2003, it was on a different plane from every other show that year, and was probably the most complete of their 2000-2006 programs. BD 2003 looked dated five minutes after it concluded. No offense to BD folks, but it felt like judges had a governor on what they were willing to give Rosemont in hopes that someone could help break up the win streak.

  6. Yeah, Cappy and I have been through this a round or two, but Bloo won, and rightfully so, IMO.

  7. Respectfully disagree Cappy. Judges got it right. Bloo was better and earned it. Crown and BD had gold medal worthy shows, but it belonged to the extraordinary men and women of Canton Ohio in 2016.

  9. more than 34 million people ( if research is right ) with Diabetes , and that's just 1 thing

  10. Those percentages really add up when we consider 1% is over 3 million people. Have a distant relative considered high risk due to two cancer bouts, heart attack he should not have survived and not the best respiratory system due to chain smoking in the past. Take each of those issues one by one and figure the percentage of people with the same (Single) issue. My wife had neurological and other issues that weakened her. Like you said not many realize how many people deal with hidden issues like this.

  11. Yeah tough call as some are high risk because of suppressed immune system or just not that strong physically. So is safe course get these people near the top of the list because of these issues? Or.... should these people wait to see if any side affects crop up as more people get the vaccine. And if the vaccine contains killed CV virus could the high risk person get a low grade case of CV which could be deadly. Same reason why doctor didn’t want my wife to get a flu shot unless it was the same strain as what was going around

  12. Sure it did. Guard blead over into many captions as it still does beyond their own score. All the score did was call attention to the weight the guard was already contributing.

  13. There are stages to prove the effectiveness of a solution. To get to that point benchmarks need to be met.

  14. Maybe put GPS transmitters on each member, let them march the drill, & let it transmit coordinates to central computer, which then shows the entire performance

  16. The Cadets held their monthly full-corps meeting Sunday night, as has become the routine since June. While we were unable to provide an immersive summer experience for our membership in 2020, our organization remains committed to providing them with a high level of support and education through this challenging year. Corps meetings continue into the […] View the full article
