Politics will just derail the thread. Let’s get back to talking about potential solutions and possible ways forward.

Just to clarify, I quoted Jim not because I was demanding an answer from him personally, but to build on what he was saying, to propose a potential solution whose efficacy I am not qualified to speak to, and to invite those who may have better insight to weigh in on the issue. I was merely trying to advance discussion on a discussion board in order to potentially facilitate collective solutions to the challenges faced by an activity we all love.

Some good news. Thanks for sharing the information. I think it proves a point when you look at the lack of interest here with "reply's". Has to be bad news before the band wagon starts to roll again.

Yeah....God FORBID someone discovers and promotes the activity.

She's adorable and "likes" Drum Corps just like we do, so who cares? Who else is promoting the activity right now?

most Texas bands do not participate in BOA money chasing with budgets well into the 6 figures. but the ones that do, are quite good at it.

The person who starts a thread can request to have it closed. I have been here a long time but only found that out fairly recently.

Thread is about band cancellations. Did not realize it was for band's only in one geographical location.

additionally, some states have rules about how many people can be in one place at one time. Seems only political rallies are exempt from this. ( both parties, not just one)

No idea as not connected enough to the corps scene to know how things were done the last few decades. Good point to consider for those who do know

it wasn't. i replied to your comment about how you only see bad news in here. Not all of us follow every circuit everywhere

no offense, but i follow the circuits close to home, so what Georgia is doing would not be on my radar in the slightest.
