After completion of the investigation, Ike Jackson has been removed from the WGI Hall of Fame. "As a result of the information received during the investigation, the WGI Board of Directors has voted to revoke Mr. Jackson’s Hall of Fame status with our organization." My wife is a "front line" visiting nurse. No indication yet when she will be in line to be able to get the vaccine. In N.J. at least, after health care workers, come Long Term Care patients and staff. Then first responders. According the local news a vaccine won't be available to the "general public" until at least late Spring. I presume "young people" will be last on the list. According to the news this morning, Phizer is already having "supply chain" issues. Until there is a more specific time frame for the vaccine being available, how can a corps plan anything, including housing. I would also like to know, from anyone involved, have corps even attempted to find insurance for 2021 ?

I think it’s common sense that we will need to maintain the same precautions even after receiving the vaccine. Herd immunity takes a while to kick in. I also anticipate certain precautions that we have taken due to COVID will eventually become permanent fixtures in society, similar to the dramatic changes 9/11 caused in our country.

Regarding the issue of scoring the DCI event in August: I don't really care if it's scored or not...just seeing drum corps this year, in any context, would bolster my feelings that perhaps 2022 will be outrageously cool..After all the covid/political machinations of this year, the promise of returning to NORMAL at some point would be more than I could have expected ..So, if there's a show or shows, I'll be there, God willing..peace

you have a very nice drum corps. probably a really nice bill to cover the guidelines too

I will be participating this coming summer. I'm excited and happy. These corps pushing forward is a win against the people who looked to find obstacles and to poo poo any thought of trying to do a season. Going to be fun to perform in 2021.
