DCI is like a box of chocolates. There's a lot of nuts people are probably allergic to. There's also some dang weird flavor combinations that don't work for most people but some people just love. And having too much at once is probably not a good idea.

I’m glad you’re doing okay, we left for Ian and Milton. My neighbor was on her foyer floor with her feet on the front door to keep it closed during Ian. We got wind from the opposite direction from Milton than Ian. Milton messed up the front yard. I’m a midwesterner so I have a storm door on the front. No problems. We drove to Venice to reset breakers at my sister’s house yesterday and returned on Englewood Road. It’s unbelievable. The surge carried boats, sheds, a metal roof, all kinds of furniture ACROSS Englewood and Placida roads. Stuff everywhere. TV isn’t doing this justice. Manasota key is devastated. Can’t even take the Boca Grande causeway to Gasparilla island. So sad.

Yeah it spawned over 100 tornadoes across the state. it was insane. Hearing and watch the wind was something else. The eye made landfall 48 miles from my house. If it stayed at a cat 5 there would be nothing left of West Florida.

We are doing good, thank you! We finally got power back. It was nerve racking but we were safe.

My neighbor had a few lanai screens blow out on his new cage. Mine is fine. A lot of those vinyl fences blew down again. Those don’t seem to be the best idea around here.

Not really a repertoire connection but Marcus HS in Texas has a very Phantom Regimentish feel to their show most years. It isn't a coincidence. The program's former band director marched with PR back in the day and a number of kids have gone on to march with the corps over the years.
