Spirit on next. Having tech issues with a mix on a prop. Remember when these problems didn't exist? -

Unlike Cadets this one is mobile. And way less obtrusive. -

First time seeing Surf this year. Nice show. They've left the shore and hit the city. I take it the show has an NYC vibe. Nice ensemble sound by the brass, nice drill, plenty of movement, effective guard. I found it quite enjoyable. -

Nice show from Cincinnati Tradition. They have made serious improvement from last time I saw them. Much cleaner, forms are very readable, guard much tighter. You can tell the mms are much more confident. Great job! -

Nothing against Scouts but I was really hoping it would be Crown. -

I would be fine with that.

Thanks, good to know. I have a strong cable internet connection and had zero problems watching the Mpls show last weekend through Flomarching.com. Hopefully it will be the same through Roku.
-
I just ordered a Roku this week; en route from Amazon as we speak. Till now I've been streamimg Flomarching on my computer but hopefully I'll see these upcoming shows in 60" glory!

I was there and the crowd absolutely FLIPPED OUT (me included). Crown always gets a ton of support at this show but it was especially thunderous in 2015.

Woodwind players who marched DCI
FLBuzcut replied to Blasian62's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
I was a woodwind who matched guard in drum corps. I know some people may think guard is a fall-back option for a musician, but that's not the way I saw it at all. I chose to match guard. Being a musician actually helped a lot because I understood the flow and intricacies of the music plus I didn't have to rely on counting to keep up with the work. It was basically a choice in the type of performer I wanted to be in the activity. However, it sounds like she's sold on being a musician, which is great. Her experience and understanding of music will allow her to transition to brass, I'm sure. Good luck to her! -
THAT'S how you serve cobbler.

Oh, right, Cadets! Sorry, I forgot what we were talking about. Go Cadets! I'm looking forward to everything (mostly) being in place when I see them in Nashville on the 28th.

Which is ludicrous because it costs the company much more to process that piece of mail than it does to process the online payment.

If you're talking about the nky show, only seats left are lower stadium. There were still some relatively close to the 50 about 12 hours ago when my friend got his seats. Weather also looks to be in our favor. Local weather channels are calling for a high of 85 and low of 67. Mostly sunny, 10% chance of rain earlier in the day. If weather holds it should be a beautiful night in northern KY. Here's a shot from last year's show of Crown getting ready enter the field. Nice sunset, eh? I haven't seen them live since June 26th so I am super excited to see all the changes and the "real" ending. posted from the DrumScorps app
