  1. After the Premiere I though "this just might be my favorite show" and as they've added (and taken away) and layered and changed, that's getting more and more likely. Even though it's not the popular opinion I love the show. Can't wait to see them this Saturday.
  2. He's missing balls and they're still going out.
  3. Now that the show is over i can speak without jinxing anything, but I had zero problems with Flo tonight. Not a single moment of buffering, delay or sync issues. I did reset both my modem and router before logging in. don't know if that had anything to do with anything.
  4. I agree about the headwear. I know Michael Gaines said they wanted to be able to connect to the audience, but i don't really want to engage on a personal level with Vanguard. I like them under those tilted down Aussies, all mysterious and awesome.
  5. Love the new ending! Plenty of work to do but things are shaping up nicely. Great job Blue Stars!
  6. Let's see... girls in long dresses spinning in place? Yep, Wes Cartwright.
  7. Enjoy INT. I'm heading downstairs for ice cream.
  8. I am liking that Crossmen show more and more each time I see/hear it. Good job xmen!
  9. Wow! Crossmen cooked that opening. We are now at a different level.
  10. Sorry, no "Empty Chairs" from Pioneer. I really like that song as well.
  11. Good job, Pioneer! SO much improvement since week 1.
  12. When did Pioneer change their guard uniforms? Those are completely different than what they were in the first week.
  13. Very impressed by Legends. Are they planning on moving up to World Class anytime soon? I'd say they're just about ready.
  14. Agreed. I don't think I saw them in 2015 but they were GREAT last year .
  15. Because people are inconsiderate a-holes. And I don't mean any of y'all people. I mean those OTHER people.
  16. I won't be giving up my seat on that train. I remain a Stars fan and supporter, even when some of their show choices have been, uh, questionable.
  17. I've seen them live 3 times (would have been 4 if not for the Monsoon in Muncie). I enjoy the show. There's a lot to like: hornline good, guard good, percussion VERY good. I'm not bowled over by the program but It certainly is entertaining. Maybe it will excite me more after everything has had more time to gel. Sorry I can't be more ebullient at this time. From the pre tour press I guess I expected the show to be a little more abstract and serious than it is. Some parts are, but the third section is very, uh "yo, dude!" I call it the "bro-tastic" section. I expect Mars is going to get more intense as the season moves along. He is the bringer of war, after all.
  18. Philip Henslowe: Mr. Fennyman, allow me to explain about drum corps scoring. The natural condition is one of insurmountable obstacles on the road to imminent disaster. Hugh Fennyman: So what do we do? Philip Henslowe: Nothing. Strangely enough, it all turns out well. Hugh Fennyman: How? Philip Henslowe: I don't know. It's a mystery. (Apologies to Tom Stoppard)
  19. Cadets and Suncoast were a good pair. In '83 we spent much of second tour (for those who remember first and second tours) with the Cadets, which is probably where my love affair with them began. I saw the show and heard Mass many, many times that summer, so this year's show brings back lots of great memories. I'm totally loving this modern take on Mass that respects the piece and pushes the design forward while honoring the past.
