Thanks! I know the weather is still up in the air at this time (no pun intended), but don't know if I want to risk it.

That's a nice thought, but no. 🙃If I lived in the area maybe, but driving several hours and paying for hotel rooms just for stand stills would be disappointing.

I had a little mid-south road trip planned. Murfreesboro tomorrow, drive to NC on Saturday with a stop in Asheville, then NightBeat on Sunday. I'm debating whether to cancel the whole thing. It looks like it's likely to rain all day in both places, meaning that even if the shows are not cancelled, the fields will be so wet they will probably be stand-still situations. Rats.

And have Colts added some snares? I thought they were only marching six at earlier shows. Tonight there are eight.

I wish they'd just keep the camera feed on the battery. I am enjoying the crap out of Crown's drumline.

Totally a Cadets Show. As George said, it has a similar feel to 1995. Can't wait to see this tighten up as the season progresses. Great job!

Great first show for Surf!

Multi-cam is awful; better on high cam.

Spartans are bringing props on the field and guard is setting up equipment. Looks like they're going to march.

Multi-cam feed looks like they're running it on dial-up.

Crown's guard is the best they've been since the Michael Townsend era.

I don't quite get what Crown is doing yet, but they look and sound amazing doing it. The Karl Jenkins piece is life-changing.

Blue Stars sound glorious (mostly). There are some rough patches. Really digging the show. It doesn't have the shape and flow of a typical drum corps show and the pieces are unexpected. Guard are beating themselves up with the equipment but it's so dang difficult. It'll clean up and be amazing.

Perfectly succinct

I was very impressed with Phantom at the Premiere. They came out like they had something to prove. I'm expecting more of the same.
