I'm torn.... I really like this corps and I really like this show. I think this SHOULD be in Finals. That said... it feels safe. The battery is smashing it but visually this feels safe and slow. That last set takes WAAAAYYYYYY too long to develop. Also, brass did not have a good run today. Intonation issues but more concerning was I heard bad attacks and missed releases all over the show. At this point of the season, the upstairs music judges will rip out your heart and eat your soul for basic brain farts like that. This was an opportunity to respond to Crossmen jumping over them and I worry this may have been a missed opportunity today.

This show just starts soooooo slowly... with weird rock drum fills from the kit.... Sorry, this one does nothing for me.

Hey y'all.. don't know if anyone has noticed, but this is a pretty nice show that is really starting to come together. Also, they are having a good run today... Must be that good old down-home Southern home cooking!

Music City.. I like this show. Not a big fan of the uniforms, but I do like the show. This is a much more mature show for them than what we've seen previously. Oh, and they are having quite a nice run here.

Keeping it real... I think Madison may have been better off pulling out and just doing a standstill today. They really struggled with all those holes. That was a rough run.

This stadium is awful. Its where sound goes to die. A valiant effort from such a small ensemble. Glad to see them still out though. Some pretty nice moments out there and I expect this young group to continue to grow. Florida (especially the Tampa Bay area) is a hotbed of BOA activity. If these guys could just tap into that a bit more.

Something I read the other day that I found quite interesting... Since we had basically two years with no real human contact, humans are far more susceptible to viruses than before the pandemic. This enterovirus is probably hitting the corps far harder than it would have in 2019. Back then it would have been a few people with the runs and that'd be the end of it. Now, its knocking corps out of competition. Just because covid is a thing of the past, we still have to be vigilant with hygiene.
