Staff member here. This was addressed at today's "50 yard line" meeting. Staff is going to be in a different area, and we have been advised that the new area will not interfere as in years past.

Chops will be back at Danforth Rec, practicing among the bees and a wonderfully welcoming neighborhood!

I wasn't there, so I can't speak to this specific situation, but it's really at the discretion of the timing and penalty judge. My corps once received an undertime warning after a show, and at the next show less than a week later, the penalty was actually given. There's nothing in the rule book that allows for that, it was the judges discretion.

The DCA rule basically allows for 17 minutes from the entry of corps proper until everyone/everything is off the field. Pit and props are allowed to enter a little earlier, and if the judge feels that they are taking too long to set up the pit, A one point penalty may be assessed if a warning was given first.

The Minnesota show "rained out" tonight. Actually, the weather was lovely. It rained for about 10 minutes between 9AM-9PM. It was cool, comfortable, and at times, sunny. The athletic director canceled the field show and we had a great time performing for an awesome crowd in the school gym. In 2016, same show, different venue, we performed in pouring rain. Anyway, I suppose it was more accurately a "field condition" cancellation, not a rainout. Thanks to MBI for doing the very best they could in a really impossible situation, and congrats to MBI, Chops, and Govies for outstanding performances! Also, we enjoyed the Brian Boru Pipe Band, Minne-Brass, and MBI Alumni performances!

I swear that I'm only responding because you were SO close, and I've yet to see this particular rendition, but my sources tell me it's "Kolman-Keen", and that maybe he got his DCP username before he got married. ;) Great job on these play-by-plays, all! Such a wonderful experience!
