Does anyone know their schedule for today? Specifically, what time ensemble starts?

At this time last year (July 10-11, 2022), Mandarins had the 6th highest score (behind SCV). So….it looks they are right on track to replicate last year’s success. Well done!

The DCI show that most closely replicated the music linked in the original post was 1992 Velvet Knights at 5:15 into the show (7:15 mark in the video linked below).

While the physical media would be nice, that's not necessarily what I really need. At a minimum, what I really want is the high quality audio and video that the Blu-ray provides. Providing a high quality video download with high quality audio (preferably DTS-MA quality) would suit my needs just fine. Although, I would miss being able to add to my vast collection. As it stands now, it appears that to get the best quality audio/video I'll need to do the following: Purchase the audio downloads when they become available (I assume they will be CD quality) Utilize my FloMarching 1080p video screen captures Use software to merge the CD quality audio with the FloMarching video. (I have to hope the audio and video match up.) I don't need to burn it to a disk, as I can play the files on my home theater via Plex or my Zappiti media player. While this workaround really sucks, I guess it is the best we can do going forward...which is very depressing.

I was naïve and assumed that DCI would, at some point, release all of the years of DCI on Blu-ray. Well, that doesn't appear likely at this point and now I am too late to acquire all of the DVDs. I would love to straight out purchase the needed years, but I am also open to finding a fellow trust-worthy DCI fan to do a "borrow exchange" (where I could send some DVDs you would like to watch in exchange for DVDs I would like to watch. and then we mail back to the original owner when finished). I am also open to permanent trades. I would even pay just to borrow (I am willing to send extra money for shipping and a deposit to be refunded upon the DVDs return). Hey….that’s my home theater setup. I can provide a comparison. At The 2017 DCI Finals, I was sitting in the 2nd row on the 50. The Blue Devils were incredibly loud with all of their amplification….almost uncomfortably loud. Well, that’s about how loud I had my system turned up in that video demonstration.

It better be. I don’t have high hopes for any audio/video products from DCI this year, so what Flo provides may be all there is to document this season for future enjoyment.

Blue Stars do as well, IMO.

Yes….so much distortion. Ugh. Why is it so hard?

So much distortion in the Flo stream during load passages. Wish they would just turn the mic gain down.

Audio is predominantly coming from left side regardless of what side the performers are on. I hope this isn’t indicative of the audio quality we will be getting on all of the shows.

Definitely! It seems like they accidentally set the gain all the way up on the left side
