Thematically, Angel was a good choice. However, it couldn't be more of a boring and seemingly emotionless piece. That is, of course, in retrospect among the other ballads. Cavies on the other hand greatly dug into the emotional side of their piece. The use of the upper-range baritones facing back-left field, and the mellos on the ladder that just yanked on your heart-strings.
Cadets' was ok. Yes execution was "perfect," but the emotion seemed written and not so much performed.
Crossmen get the thumbs up for the a cappella brass and swing flags. Beautiful...
