I need to thank Aaron and his staff for everything they've done in the past many years. It's been the ride of a lifetime, and I feel that we could not have asked for a more dedicated staff. Their veins run with Crossmen blood, and I know that our paths will cross again very soon. It's looking up to be an exciting season with Chuck Naffier back in the lineup. I also look forward to getting to know and learning from Jason Buckingham. The Crossmen hornline will certainly not go down without a fight in 2011.

I'm really happy to hear that a drum corps could be starting up in Maryland! I live in Carroll County myself and have had many friends wishing to march somewhere but unable to travel to the nearest corps. I'll see if I could point some people your way.

Yeah... I've been trying to fill a baritone hole for three weeks now. Still no relply although I've sent multiple emails... Slightly frustrating.

I guess I'm weird. I started playing euphonium in 4th grade and only recently picked up trombone last year, in 11th grade.

I voted heavily for Crossmen and Suncoast Sound. And yet... nothing. In fact, none of my votes are on there. I don't feel like paying to see a combination of the 2005 and 2006 countdowns... which is what's going to happen.

We've seen Fiddler on the Roof. We've seen Holst's Planets Suite... But I think the greatest show idea ever possible would have to be the "Fiddler on the Planets"! It would be a combination of the two, and therefore would be twice as awesome.
