I usually like to sit high and see the drill but the overhang seems to catch the sound moreso in the Alamodome than other stadiums. This year, I got top row of lower level.
Yeah. I had the same problem trying to get tickets online for San Antonio. I went to a Ticketmaster outlet and showed the lady where I wanted to sit (highest seat of bottom level, closest in) and got great seats.
When they went down to their knees, I thought, "Are they?!!?" Then I immediately doubted that it was coming. What control of their bodies they have performing that move and coming out of it!! As good as any past SCV colorguards.
I will be there.
I took my three sons to one or two shows a year after they hit about 10 years old and they watched the PBS broadcasts with me. The older two enjoyed it but never showed any interest in joining. My youngest was convinced after his first live show that he was going to march AND he is this year! It will be my first time to see one of my kids march in a DCI show this Friday!!!! ^OO^
I would have thought so too. In fact when my son told me that this afternoon, I thought their staff was playing some kind of "stay loose" mind game on them. I called after the show and he confirmed that it really was an exhibition.
Madison's problem may not be the Glassmen, Gmen scored only 61.85 in their first show. Both of them have to worry about the Colts, a 2006 non-finalist, who opened with a 65.8.
