I haven't read further in the post, but this isn't a full step... merely an excercise that puts you where you need to be to initiate the firs step. on a full weight transfer you would see the knees together and the back heel start to come up (or as you put it the 'weight transfer')

I always just thought a "superman" type uniform was the kind that opens/zips/velcros in the front. That way when you take it off, you reveal the S on your chest...
