  1. just wanted to to bump this for people who havent seen this yet.
  2. It's something that will be entered into festivals first. The hope is that it will get picked up by someone and distributed somehow. Then we'll know what the deal is with where it will be viewable.
  3. I'm not really sure. I just remember leaving them on the field and not looking back. I imagine someone comes and collects them and throws them away.
  4. Here is the message I received from Adam (the filmmaker) this morning about the updates to the project.
  5. I'll be sure to add details on here about updates to the project.
  6. From what I hear leaving his shoes was successful and it was the most emotional moment of the entire tour.
  7. Im glad at least of a couple of you took a look at the video.
  8. I figured not many of you know about this documentary that is being done with Pacific Crest. I figured I would share. With the loss of Zach Headden in November, a PC alum, decided he wanted to spend his age out season making a professional documentary about Pacific Crest and the trip that Zach's marching shoes make to the age out ceremony in Indy. Check out the trailer and leave comments. The Walk to Indy Blog The Walk to Indy Facebook Group
  9. I aged out with Pacific Crest in 2008 which was the first year they used the rehearsal model that has been slightly expanded on in the last two years. Starting in June they go to "everydays" rehearsing at schools in the Los Angeles/Orange County Area. They take wednesdays off. Rehearsals are like normal tour rehearsals with the exception of getting to sleep in a "real" bed at night. haha In about early to mid July they take off on tour and are doing the same rehearsal schedule as everybody else in World Class. This year's Pacific Crest is doing an incredible job. I am extremely proud to call myself an alumni of this corps.
  10. It was because they used the bass drum to enter the field for a split second... Dumb penalty if you ask me
  11. Actually if you can believe it... PC hasn't gotten any members from inactive corps this year. It has a lot to do with the complete attitude change of the members and staff about how PC wants to be seen. Not to mention they have the biggest age out class in corps history.. at 20 something..
  12. It took PC almost 10 years to leave California..
  13. Alright so lets see what happens in Denver. I wouldn't write them off just yet. And I believe its only 2 days off and then they are together for the rest of the season, but i could be wrong.
