Ding ding ding ding. We have a winner. 'Coats hornline probably did peak at Qarterfinals. They weren't as tight the next two nights and Crown and SCV turned on the heat.

Brilliant show. Incredibly beautiful, poignant and appropriate tribute to Blue Devils history and fitting that it should be on your anniversary AND that finals were in Cali! I believe......... this was one of Wayne Downey's greatest masterpieces in brass arranging.

And some say Bb hornlines aren't as loud as the glorious G's! Go figure. I wish I could have been there for it. Sounds like it was an incredible night for drum corps, especially California fans who waited so long to have championships out there. I'm glad DCI finally did it. Regret not being able to go there myself.

Crown, yours was my favorite show of the year by far and it's now one of my top 10 all time favorite drum corps shows ever. Your hornline is incredible and very much underrated. I would have put you in 4th overall. Love ya Crown!

On the 1987 telecast/DVD Steve Rondinaro said attendance was around 40k or more. Was that ever confirmed? That was at Cramp Randall in Madison. Yes, I said "Cramp".

Watching online, It looked like semifinals attendance at the Rose Bowl was as large as last years finals in Madison. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Saturday nights attendance was at or past DCI's record finals attendance.

Oh, and the audience was much better behaved tonight than last night. :P

I gotta say this was a different Cadets than last night at quarters. These kids were on fire and determined. Not my favorite show but I have to say...

I'm o.k. with it... and Bluecoats stuff. Not too crazy about the other corps that's using narration this year.

CROWN! Biggest crown response of the night next to SCV. I just wish the camera had stayed on the rifles during the trumpet call! Will someone please tell the producers? Someone get out to that T.V. truck in the lot and tell them. Thanks! :P
