Male Commentary..."SHHHHHH!"
Man in crowd..."S H I T"!! (That was the funny one!)

WOW !!!!!! Sure wish I could get to see this LIVE, May 25th in Erie,PA.
I just know there will be a few who will get it on HERE.
We just got word that, since the concert following the parade is an SDCA event, it will be broadcast on the DCA Fan Network! Not sure if it will be live, but what the heck?

We are waiting for some confirmations...as of 12:00pm Saturday, March 30th...72 brass, 32 percussion, and still growing. Be a part of history, May 25, 2013. Happy Easter to all.

Wow, Good for You Guy's.
With numbers like this, "71 brass, 32 percussion, and still growing.".
Is there anyway you can get enough to come and do, the DCA, "Alumni Classic" in Annapolis?.
Heck, maybe get and keep enough to do a "Class A" competing Corps in the near future?
I doubt it. Many are participating BECAUSE it's a one shot deal. However, the corps has been inactive for a couple of years and this might just jump start it again, at least on a local level. As I have been told by the management, "Baby steps"!

Congratulations on obtaining the services of Frank T. Williams! He is a very old friend of mine and a musical genius!

Win,place or show, we always took a serious approach. We were out to win, but, we were also out there to ENTERTAIN. The entire show is a waste of time if there is no ENTERTAINMENT.
As far as the OP and the tapes/critique issue: Is there a critique after DCA/DCI finals? I think not. It is the last competitive performance of the year and, as such, gets no critique.
Kudos to all of the mini-corps, serious or not. I am sure you all gave your best and the crowd appreciated it.
Like someone once said, on the mini-corps stage in Scranton,"Have a beeeeah!"
Oh yeah, that was me!

Think we might have to do something about that.

Sounds like good things going on in Cincy! Hope to see you guys somewhere this summer. Best of luck!

Finally!

Great to see you back in the game Mike! And, Tim is a dual threat as marching tech AND brass tech! Good moves by WS to bring both these men on board. Best of luck!

I don't see anything wrong with posting about this in the DCP forum. I've been out of touch for a while, but if there is controversy (inside the drum corps community) surrounding this, well people just better get over it. This is going to do more for our activity than any other single event ever has or possibly ever could.
I guess if this is controversial, "Blast" must just be AWFUL for the activity. (sarcasm off)
Personally, I don't watch that show, but will definitely tune in if "Edge" is on!
Best of luck to these fine drum corps ambassadors!

That was Indiana University's drumline.
According to various reports, the drumline was made up of percussionists from the Indianapolis area, not just one particular school/university. Besides, I don't think Indiana University has a drumline quite that large!

I hope someone at the show posts actual sizes of the corps. Curious how they stack up against each other.
