  1. We get them here in Erie once and a while since we sit right on a fault up here we are just waitng for a good one. Last one I remember was in the mid to late 90's and we thought a delivery truck had hit the building I was working in. Looked outside...No truck. Radio news informed the area it was in fact an earthquake. As far as I am concerned...Cali can keep the BIG ones. this is Shelly not Tom. (too much trouble to log off then back on)
  2. OK, here's mine: I am absolutely going to try to get to a show this summer. Yep, that's a definite maybe!
  3. WOW, a shock to wake up to this news. Rick always had a smile on his face. One of the nicest people I knew in this activity. R.I.P. RR.
  4. Ask Dan L. He's running the Facebook. I have no idea how to hook it up.
  5. Well, this should satisfy some of the guard questions I have seen pop up on Facebook!
  6. You are, but looks don't count! BWAAAAAAHAHAHAHAAAAA!
  7. ....And so begins the recruitment...LOL I knew two things...Tom couldn't stay off this post and SOMEONE would start about him coming on board. LOL Keep it up and we will be living in a cardboard box but you will have your Tommy! I wish you guys lots of luck. (BTW...This is Shelly not Tom)
  8. Talked to a couple people this past week and it sounds like a very solid beginning. Looking forward to seeing the corps very soon!
  9. Has anyone posted the open house on the WICU community calendar? Might reach a larger base that way? Just sayin'. BUMP
  10. WOW! All I can say is, having known Ken and Rob since their high school days, EV since he was a little whacker and EIV since....well, just since...you have a great crew aboard to sail this ship into the storm that IS DCA. Best of luck! I can't make Open House, but will be around to watch this grow from it's infancy into a DCA Class "A" contender.
  11. Again, some interesting choices from the Brass. Nice to see some fresh ideas. Good luck in 2008!
  12. Sounds great! Wonderful to see another classic corps return. Fester, see you at the Seranade?
  13. I have been trying to keep track of all of this when I am home to get to DCP. Fran and Barb, you are always in my prayers. Best wishes for a healthy New Year and continued progress. Hopefully, I will have the chance to get to Rochester this year and see you for a minute or two!
  14. I'm sorry you voted Democrat...Maybe this election you will "move Forward" ROFLMAO .......... (Sorry, couldn't help myself but this was too easy.....BTW, this isn't Tom this is his wife Shelly) Now back to the topic at hand.
  15. Well said Keith! Enough with thr naysayers and mudslinging. Best of luck Sun Devils. Sounds to me like you are well on the way, and you could do a whole lot worse than having KH on board!
  16. I was just thinking about him the other day. I was sitting in the lower level at pre-lims in Scranton, directly in front of him when he came to the podium with the box of Dunkin' Donuts and delivered that classic line. I last spoke with him at the after party at the Erie show a few years back. I offered my condolences on the loss of his brother George, who was an legend, icon and one of my personal inspirations. I haven't been to DCAs in a couple of years (job) and was looking forward to going this year and seeing him again. RIP my friend.
  17. I didn't recognize the email listed for some of the contributions, but I added a couple of tidbits! B)
  18. As established in an earlier thread by Tom D'Bomb, ya just can't go wrong with fire extinguishers! GO CRU!!!
  19. Man, I missed ya! Glad to see you haven't lost yout edge! Fire Extinguishers RULE!!!!
  20. Thoughts and prayers to you and Barb from both of us. Keep strong!
