  2. I think it would be cool if they wore just hats! Now that would be an impression!
  3. C'mon Donnie, let's be honest.......some of these people still make you sick to your stomach! Congrats to all the recipients!! Peace, Dennis
  4. Congratulations Carolina Gold!!! Thanks again for having me on board and I look forward to what 2010 holds in store! Peace, Dennis
  5. Yes Dave, congratulations to the Buccaneers on another amazing run and breaking and tying all those records! Congratulations to the Govenaires for their Chamionship as well! I watched every Corps on both days! DCA just keeps getting better and better! Any one of the Open class shows (and a few of those Class A's as well!) could have been champs in 96 when I started arranging in this circuit, and certainly in 82 when I started participating in this circuit, so that just goes to show how high the bar has been set. Just think what this activity will look like in another 10-20 years! Wow! Just hope I am here for the ride! 2010 started yesterday! Can't wait!! Peace, Dennis
  6. Here's a wish for good luck to all the participants in this 2009 season! Wishing everyone safe travels, great weather, huge crowds and successful seasons! May the fans win every show!! See you down the road! Peace, Dennis
  7. This is great!!! I love listening to this stuff!! This should be required listening for all current drum corps members! It just is more evidence that what it is all about is great air, great ears and a great big pair of cojones!! Awesome!!! Can't wait for the next batch! Peace, Dennis
  8. If Jerome is making the food, you know your ### is gonna be killin'! Enjoy guys. Good luck. Peace, Dennis
  9. Have a great rehearsal weekend Sun! I can't wait to hear the Corps! Peace, Dennis
  10. As dysfunctional as this thread has become at times it really is a great read! I have been guilty of being one of those annoying staff members who run up and yell like a schoolgirl for their group and don't care who they are bothering. Sorry about that.....especially to that one guy in Scranton....I was really a jerk to him. I've been better the last several years........honest I have.
  11. Dwayne Hollenbach....1986 Bush......"Aries Eyes" on flugel horn.
  12. The intercostal muscles (the ones between the ribs) are really the most important ones for us players. The diaphragm works harder when you are taking a dump than when you are playing your horn. Yes, it is bad to lean like that.....mostly because of the bending and flexing to your windpipe and brochial tubes....but it makes you feel like a bad*&%. In the 70's and 80's I had lots of fun doing it!
  13. Well, let's see, which ones did you teach? Ouch! Did I just write that?? You know I love you Donny!
  14. Alan, We'd look like the Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria! Let's leave the marching to the guys that still can! We'll sit back with a cold beverage and enjoy the performance! Deal? Peace, Dennis
  15. Wow! Bravo Caballeros on a terrific Camp! It was great spending the day with the Corps and hearing 7+ minutes of the show in full ensemble! Really musical stuff happening in Hawthorne so far! Looking forward to hearing the percussion feature and the rest of the Closer! Til then...... Peace, Dennis
  16. Have a great Camp Sunrisers! See you soon! Peace, Dennis
  17. See you all on Sunday! I can't wait to hear the Corps play through "Espana Cani/Amparito Roca", "Time to Say Goodbye" and "A Mis Abuelos"! Then it'll be time to get "El Diablo Rojo" buzzing! Looking forward to it! Peace, Dennis
  18. Sorry Ray........problem is now I am too!
  19. No one has to move out of the Top 5.........if there's a TIE!
