  13. DCA Tickets Been available to email subscribers since early this year and online at this link. Just click on "DCA Tickets".
  14. Thanks for the review but I wish you would have hung in there to watch and review The Park City Pride. As an exhibition corps, these reviews mean a lot to us who work hard all year to present a decent, entertaining show. Hope you get a chance to see our show this season.
  15. Official Flyer Thought you might like to see the "only" advertisement for this show - on the Barnum Festival Website. All other promo appears to be word-of-mouth. Still, a GREAT lineup for a GREAT price.
  16. Our condolences to George's immediate family and his Buccaneer and UMASS friends. Many of our Park City Pride Alumni Corps members knew and competed against him. Truly a sad day and a great loss for marching arts.
  17. I agree with all who have said that they want the reviews to continue. As a member of an alumni corps (The Park City Pride), I and other alumni only get feedback from the audience and the reviewers. These reviews are very important feedback for all of us. Please keep them coming - good or bad. Ignore the ignorent. Freedom of speech also includes the freedom to ignore stupid comments. --Ernie, Contra Bass and Park City Pride Webmaster. (I love sharing the reviews with our membership)
  18. From the CT Post: BARNUM FESTIVAL Champions on Parade, scheduled for Saturday night at Kennedy Stadium in Bridgeport, will go on. The Great Street Parade on Sunday will also go on as scheduled. The storm, however, has affected two Barnum Festival events. The fireworks display originally planned for tonight at Seaside Park has been postponed. A rescheduled date has not been set. The Barnum Festival did have to cancel the singing of the Swedish Nightingales Jenny Lind concert scheduled Thursday night at the Playhouse On the Green. Officials are coordinating schedules this morning to try to find a date and time, hopefully this weekend, when both young ladies are still in town, to reschedule the performance. And, The Park City Pride will be rehearsing tonight at the Champions on Parade site.
  19. The Park City Pride dedicates our 2010 season to our Corps Director, friend and mentor, Robert Glovna. Please click on the link below to learn more, make a donation or walk with us to help fight this terrible disease. Thank You! ALS Association Community of Hope page for Robert Glovna
  20. On behalf of the Park City Pride rifle/cymbal line: Sheesh is right!!! First, Ray, thank you for your kind words and review of our drum corps. Our cymbal line works very hard at what we do as does the rest of the corps. We, collectively as a line, are not in any way insulted by your comments. Rest assured you have a free pass to enter Bridgeport at any time. We look forward to meeting you at a future show and maybe even show you some of our new moves Hope to see ya soon! aclayburn0510@yahoo.com
  21. Will anyone venture forth with a review of the show? Word has it that 2011 will be the final "Serenade in Brass". Hate to lose such a great venue
