  1. PS. Nobody over 40 is allowed in the OT group ;-) You bet we will do Screamin' Christmas this year! AND you should come play again. Edit: I went back and read your blog from last christmas and got a chuckle. "I then met up with the Onyx Drum and Bugle Corps of Yorba Linda and hung with them for about 2 hours playing Christmas carols for the people walking around in the Eagle Hills development of Brea (side note--VERY VERY cool neighborhood of simply over the top Christmas decorations--you should go!). We were loud."
  2. Onyx Training will be running on Sundays from 10-noon in Yorba Linda, CA from August 19th through October. We will be playing around town to raise money and public awareness and helping members prepare for approaching corps/college auditions. This is geared toward the advanced high school/college level player but there are options for younger and less experienced members with a good work ethic. It is free if you can provide your own horn, or you may rent one from Onyx. We will be working out of the complete Arbans Books on all instruments and more of an emphasis will be placed on ensemble playing this year since we are performing. Fun tunes, good times and hard work. Meet vets of various corps and ensembles from all over CA. There are 19 spots and 5 need to be filled as of this post. Email for more info or if you wish to join! TrumpetDan714@Hotmail.com Edited to add video from last year: *mod note* used with OT permission
