You are selling yourself short OCA. Concentrate and you can hear if the snares/quads sound as one. With the guard, is their spacing and lines ok. Are the flags, rifles, sabers, etc. all at the same angle. Search or look at future pictures posted that have guard in it, or, if you have fan network, pause it on a guard toss of anything. Look at the angles.

Looks like JS and the BAC were the only ones who gained in scores. BC only dropped a little. Thanks all for the updates.

Dam right! Carl and Kevin still can't figure out who did some of the work on the trailers last week and how did some tools get moved.

I had similar thoughts at the CYO. The top corps usually get the best guard personnel and with many going from WGI to DCI, they should have basic tosses down pretty good, even with some wind. Granted, WGI is indoors, but with all the hours of rehearsing from start of WGI through early July, mostly outdoors, muscle memory should be working well. But, as you said, execution will improve.

What intrigues me is what they have to do in these next 4+ weeks to reach the organizations goal(not the alums/fans) for this year. That challenge is going to be exciting for the corps and will make for an epic finals week.

Me to wife as we're heading South past the IBEW Hall in Dorchester. "Based on the current time and the Crusaders go on about fourth from last, we might see them drive by on their way to Lynn". Less than two minutes later as we're heading through E. Milton, "here they come Patti". She never did look up from her nook! She never could understand what I saw in D&BC.

At the last warm-up I took in awhile back, I overheard the "brass warm-up dude" remark to an associate how he wished the corps didn't have to do them. It's all for show. The brass line's been warming up most of the day.

I sure as helll don't "know", but they can easily add props and characters. Barricade, a battle scene complete with gun fire, musket smoke, etc. They can easily "kill" more characters in one finals performance than Phantom has in their total existence!

Nice jump yes, but since the CYO (last show for these four), Cadets +2.5, BC +3.5, PR +3.2, and the BAC + 3.4. So they gained .20 on PR, .90 on the Cadets, and lost .10 on the BC in one show. Let's hope they're able to keep chipping away on everyone. The way the staff seems to be doing things this year really is interesting and I imagine the mm are finding their next gear. Can't wait to compare scores after Lynn.

Where we live, Ivins, UT, has about 7,000 residents and is a city with a Mayor and City Manager. Talk about top heavy in politics!
