  1. Compare tonights scores with last nights. http://www.dci.org/scores/
  2. http://www.dci.org/ Check under todays date Jeff.
  3. Easy Padre. Still have two corps to go. Check dci.org at 2225 hours.
  4. Thanks. I brought it up because the OP made it read like it happened all the time.
  5. Other than 08, what other years have DM's/members been killed?
  6. Not sure what the "rule book" says N.E. If they watch that individual for 6-8 steps and they look like they are moving OK, then nail 'em! But, I imagine they give them some slack.
  7. Mike Ferlazzo: The break dancing in the percussion feature is very fresh and effective too.
  8. Michael C. will be very happy. Great comments sir.
  9. Someone let M. Boo know that a corps member without a plume is usually a notice to the judges that that person has an injury. Most likely with a leg.
  10. The key to three nights of blogs is having a different person joining Mike each night. That way they usually do most of the typing, it's their first time, and Mike can key off them.
  11. One of the toughest assignments tonight will be Mike Boo and his associate to blog each corps for the third straight night and try to make it sound original.
  12. Which means the Cadets will move their pre-season camp to P-Town. All kinds of color guard uniforms over there to choose from. Plus, they would be the third all male corps since the guard would be all male.
  13. The original "BAC" sent out a Flash Mob text yesterday to a gang head in Chicago. As the Crusaders begin being judged, all the gang members, led by the BAC alumni, begin a revolution against all the other corps, beginning with the Bluecoats in the waiting area of the Lucas, and working their way back to the corps parking area. Top seven corps do not have enough members to compete. BAC wins.
  14. Too bad they didn't actually use those small howitzers that are used in some sailboat races for the starts/finishes. Borrow a couple and actually have the smoke plus a great sound inside a dome. If George can get the nearby fire station to assist the Cadets closing, howitzers would also be a nice touch.
  15. Since the staff didn't include bits of conquest this year, it's not too late. During the closing drill, while the hornline is off to the left, facing the back section in a company front, have a few of the appropriate brass players begin the opening licks of conquest. The rest of the hornline begins their individual 180's. When completed, begin the oblique towards the center of the field playing conquest. A simple change. At this stage, it would not be a major hit to their theme, shouldn't effect scoring too much, and the fans would absolutley go nuts! A last minute bottle dance by SCV was always appreciated. Wonder if any corps will do anything different at this stage, no matter how simple it might be.
  16. http://www.drumcorpsplanet.com/forums/index.php/topic/147992-semifinals-webcast-chat/page__st__440 Read post #456. Now, will it stay the same three nights in a row, or will at least one position change?
  17. After Jubal marched, they did an age-out thing, and now volunteer of the year. Back to the Jets and Sharks!
  18. Full moon(?), too many alpha males, and no one wants to check their egos at the front door!
  19. Sure are some pisssed off fans tonight the way these posts are going. Anyone need a ride home?
  20. Interesting comments. Not knowing all the players you mentioned, I'd just be guessing with support or criticism.
  21. WOW! Some criticism. Update. Read his blog. Guess he typed the remark in a positive/admiration mode. Yes Mr. Boo, the KA is on it's way.
