It might only be speculation, speculation that I believe is right on. Even without TOC, the majority of these eight corps probably auditioned a high percentage of new "talented" members and definitely auditioned those who wanted to "move up" to a top eight corps.
The fact that you had to edit that short reply leads me to think you couldn't type your response fast enough. May everyone live healthy and safely so they can be around in ten.
Boston, in the mid 60's, picked up members from Our Lady of Lordes and a South Boston corps whose name escapes me. Another church corps that folded. SKEK also gained members from these coprs.
Believe Tony first carried them in competition at the Prince Standstill. He was heard saying if the crowd started laughing at him, he would keep right on marching to the opposite exit, in the arena, at the end of the OTL company front.
Might not be able to use this system at all contests. You have a show with very few top 12's and a normally lower scoring corps may gain some easy points.
I agree. Started listening during "THE YANKEES LOSE, THEEEE YANKEES LOST" last night and just finished. So damnnn much great music out there since the dawn of time and so little time to listen to/download it all. Thanks to all who took the time to post their favorites.
You might have heard this from DIGGA, a BAC alumnus who walked into the tent during the Cavies complaint. No BAC rep was there other than DIGGA (who was not part of the corps staff)in his MDC lifeguard hat. Understand he did a bang-up job of arguing for Chicago not to get any breaks.
