Regarding asymmetrical drill, Pete Emmons introduced it in 70s with SCV. Great guy that is a wealth of drum corps history! If you're able to run into him on the road with BD, you could probably get a few minutes to sit down and discuss it with him. What if BD came east to start the season?

It still amazes me that we had piano, saxophone and bassoon players in that line. I have taught and still teach the best horn lines in DCI and, these days, kids have to practically be masters on their brass instrument to have a chance to make the line.

Yep, I remember hanging out with members of CB after a couple of shows, specifically the Massilon show. Chuck Daellenbach hung out with us (contras) until we were ready to roll that night. I just thought it was a really cool gesture by some famous fans...then it all made sense at the banquet....
