The Defenders Alumni Corps have a member who travels from Maine, 4 hours away. Since we only rehearse once a month it makes it a lot more tolerable.

Not only did they win visual but they got a 10 if I remember correctly.

This past Saturday 35 members of the Defenders Alumni Corps joined ranks with the Bridgemen Alumni Corps and some alumni from the 27th Lancers to perform at the DCA Mission Drums show. It was a great moment when these 110+ horns played together. Many friendships were formed and the Bridgemen even stopped by the "Legion" in Revere on their way home. Enjoy.

The Defenders Alumni Corps of Rockland, MA is pleased to announce the addition of Don MacTaggart to the Brass staff. Don is a long time DCI and DCA judge as well as a respected brass teacher in the Boston area. Don was a staff member with the Defenders in the 1970s after performing and ageing out along side Brass caption head Steve Dorgan with the 27th Lancers. Don joins Steve Dorgan, Bob Houde, Wayne Boyd and Peter Bonaccorsi all of who teach and perform with the corps.

That's a pretty good rifle toss. Also, I believe our very own Irving, "Fan of The Arts" is in that rifle line.
