I have a similar question. I will be heading to semifinals along with 2 of my friends, but will unfortunately be arriving at about 5:45. Do you think I'll need to buy from the box office at this point?

Well I can't comment as the two encores I saw were pretty boring (Bluecoats and Cavies).

I don't know. It's a bit strange that Crown went from 2nd to 5th in colorguard and The Cadets went from 5th to 2nd.

I'm ok with their overall score, but 3rd in percussion??? That surprises me.

I would like to apologize to every college athlete ever who was booed at some point in their life when playing against their rivals in their championship game. Get over it, these are big kids and honestly, if booing were ever in order in a drum corps event, this would be it. The audience OBVIOUSLY isn't booing the performance, they are booing the fact that they aren't performing. Everybody booing is obviously aware that the performers had nothing to do with this and the corps members should realize this. Oh, and a message to Hoppy.... BOOOOOOOOO

Correct. They've beaten them pretty handily for now the 3rd time in a week and the 9th time this season.

Well PR lost to Bluecoats and Crown at San Antonio and they've come back to pass crown (I expect they will beat Bluecoats Thursday). The Cavalier lead over Regiment has shrunk from 3.55 at San Antonio to 2.00 at Indianapolis to a mere 0.70 at Phoenix. If they are truly within .7 of the Cavaliers, then they are within 1.5 of first place. I'm not saying they will pass anybody, but they are definitely gaining ground on the top 3 and I wouldn't be surprised to see them medal on Saturday night.

normally, the top 9 from each division advance from prelims to semis, but since there are only 6 D2 corps, all 6 D2 corps will advance along with the top 9 D3 corps. (The Yokohama Scouts can advance if they place in the top 9 - which they did - but don't bump anybody else out, there will just be 10 D3 corps advancing). For finals, the top 3 from each division advance, then next 6 highest scores, regardless of division. Again, the international corps can advance to make it 13 corps at finals.
