I remember seeing this thread last year. I'm wondering how many members each corps had at finals, specifically the brass.

this sounds like an awesome concert. im one of those people active in both these activities, now if only i wasnt 12 hours away and rehearsing..

how about the midwest dynasty from 83-06 with 19 titles in 24 seasons?.. :P

try getting made an alternate when you move in. i was told i had a spot all through camps until the first day of rehearsal.

just to let everyone know, at the 50th anniversary concert this year, phantom will be performing canon, the opener from spartacus, and the finale to new world at a stand still. also, as for the warm ups, many classic shows are played, including canon, new world, firebird, bacchanale, fire of eternal glory, and i believe elsas procession. maybe more but thats what i can remember off the top of my head.

ok, ive read lots of topics on here but never really had enough of an urge to post something, but i decided this would be the right post for it.. to all of you who are saying this is just to stir up the pot or that theres no point in this thread, its people like you who get so many discussions off topic and into the same meaningless, pointless arguments all the time. in no way at all, as far as i can tell, was the original poster trying to stir anything up or say that this "old guy" broke the rules. if you read it again, he compliments the guy, saying he was blown away by his amazing talent. it seems more like hes just curious about how old he was, and decided to bring up the topic of other people seen who look older, NOT that hes trying to hunt down and stop anyone who tries to break the rules..
